Strike In Nepal:
Nepal has suffered lots of
strikes days from last decade and even earlier. Mainly these strikes are made
by political parties for their own shake in the name of social welfare, for
providing good endings to country. In Nepal, Strike has been simple method to
fulfill the demand of anybody against government or even to compete with other political
parties. Strikes are very rough and violent in Nepal, leading to damage of
private as well as government property causing lots of economic loss as well as
loss of life. We see many Childs and young generation people involved in these
strike activities hampering general people lives. Again, according to Human
rights, I guess it's Child abuse. We people have suffered this situation
frequently. Yet, nobody has taken action against these types of unsocial
activities.
Today, in the morning, while
going for i walk, a thought came to me, what do Nepal police and army in the
strike? Generally controlling the crime activities in society are the main
focus of police and army, but in strike, do they really control? Today, there
is strike across whole Nepal, and I saw groups of police and army sitting in different
points and corners of society. But what exactly are they doing there? Waiting
for crime to be committed? It is strike day, and no vehicles are running and
shops are open.
It is direct and clear threat to
Nepalese police and Army from the political parties to help and support these
parties organized strikes. If a man is involved in strike, he/she should be
punished. Yes, our police officers and army do that, but why they don't try to
avoid strikes? Why they let strikes to succeed? Strike is certainly an
activity, not least than crime, that hampers lots of people of daily lives.
Again there comes Authority and Responsibility
for police and army officers. If a person of party is arrested, who takes its responsibility?
Nobody, because they again have limited authorities which are suppressed by
upper Authority, that is, same parties who are forcing for strike.
We people, Nepalese people are
waiting for our nation, and our lives to be good from these political parties
who are making us suffer. For a simple issue, strikes are held out. Why we are
not aware that we are helping for wrong people?
Recently, People of Bhairahawa
(Nepal, Rupandehi District) has initiated there first step against strikes and
many people were injured when these people collapsed with people coming for strike.
And there is a demand for including punishment rule in constitution, which is
very good for minimizing strikes.
As our police and army officers
are helping us from rescuing from the harmful activities of strike we need
total clearance of strike. And for this, a new generation group has to be
formed which will fight against the strike. Different groups from every society
has to be involved and a single large group has to be formed working secretly
underground.
